About Us

Julia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and owner of Sunrise Counseling Services, PLLC. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Master's degree in Social Work from University of South Carolina. Julia started her social work career by providing in-home services to children, adolescents, and their families. She provided a trauma-informed and individualized treatment approach to help clients thrive in their home and school environments. She also has experience in a hospital setting providing crisis  intervention and assessment. These settings have provided the opportunity to work with individuals with a variety of needs including  anxiety, depression, and grief/loss (including pet loss and  disenfranchised grief). Julia is looking forward to helping empower adolescents and adults to make positive change in their lives.
